Senior/Principal Development Management Officer

A Local Authority in the South East is looking for a Senior/Principal Development Management Officer to deal with a caseload as well as presenting at the local Planning Committee. This would be on an initial 3-month contract.

About The Role

The client is looking for a candidate to come in and deal with complex major applications including the discharge of conditions associated with major developments. Liase with colleagues, applicants and their agents, Council Members, stakeholders, senior management and the community. As well as present at the local Planning Committee when required.

The role will be a hybrid role, with office presence required for site visits and attendance at the Planning Committee.  

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and experienced in dealing with a varied case load.
