Planning Officer 

A local authority in the West Midlands is looking for a Planning Consultant to join their team on an initial 4 month basis with a view to extend.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Planning Officer to assist with a shortage in their team.

The client is looking for a candidate to conduct the following:

  • Give pre-application planning advice
  • Prepare planning documentation
  • Dealing with Minor applications
  • Dealing with complex Minor applications
  • Change of use
  • Dealing with planning appeals and offering representation where required.

The role will be split between the office and home working, going into the office once a week.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and on their way to accreditation. The client is happy to consider applicants who are not chartered but have experience within the Planning field.

When

The client is looking to interview and proceed with the right candidate as soon as possible.
