Principal Enforcement Officer 

A local authority in the East Midlands is looking for a Principal Enforcement Officer to join their team on an initial 6 month basis with a possibility of extending beyond that.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Principal Enforcement Officer to assist with a large backlog of cases.

The client is looking for a candidate to come in and hit the ground running to deal with a large caseload and assist the current manager by conducting one to one meetings with junior members of staff. They will be working with a team of Enforcement Officers with fantastic team culture and reporting into the Manager of the Enforcement Department. Due to the location of the authority, the candidate may be required to have a driver’s licence to conduct site visits more easily, with site visits and office presence desired once every two weeks.

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and experience at a Principal level in Local Authority Planning Enforcement Departments
