Planning Policy Manager

A local authority in the North West is looking for a Planning Policy Manager to join their team on an initial 6 month basis.

About The Role

A local authority is looking for a Planning Policy Manager to oversee operations with the Policy team and mentor and train junior members of staff whilst overseeing the strategic sites and local plan for the area.

The client is looking for a candidate to come in and hit the ground running to support the Head of Planning, until a permanent appointment can be made.  

The role is flexible in working remotely with office attendance desirable for once a week/fortnight in the office

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be chartered by RTPI, or an equivalent qualification and experience at a Managerial level and have extensive experience with Local Plan delivery.
